While a person experiences a variety of emotions,
when first diagnosed that he/she has cancer or a blood disorder/disease,
the primary concern is survival. Almost always, the uncertainty
of not knowing what will happen, and the sense of powerlessness, is most
troubling to someone facing a cancer diagnosis. It is best to educate
yourself and your loved ones about issues surrounding your survival, in
order to live a full and productive life.
