Appointments & Cancellations
We try to see all patients on an appointment basis, please call between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. We make every effort to see urgent problems immediately.

If you must cancel an appointment, please notify our office as far in advance as possible so we can reschedule the time for another patient. We would appreciate at least 24 hours notice.

Health Insurance and Business Telephone Calls
Please refer calls with questions regarding insurance and billing to our business office. Our staff is extremely knowledgeable about the rules of most insurance companies.

Medical Telephone Calls
We encourage our patients to call our office if they have questions concerning their condition. The nursing staff is available to answer many of your questions. Calls which require the attention of a doctor will be relayed by the nurse, and either a nurse or doctor will return your call at the earliest opportunity.

Clinical Research Trials Activities
At Adirondack Cancer Care, eligible patients have the opportunity to participate in clinical research trials (a type of research study) sponsored by the National Cancer Institute. Clinical trials include only patients who choose to take part.

Our physicians serve as investigators on the research trials, together with the assistance of a research nurse and an experienced data manager, Cheryl Brown, CCRP. Cheryl is certified as a clinical research professional through the Society of Clinical Research Associates, and serves as our Clinical Research Coordinator.

It is hoped the information learned from these studies will benefit other patients with cancer in the future.
