JOHN R. WEINHOLD,JR., M.D.
 
Dr. Weinhold received his BS in biology from St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY and received his MD from Sackler School of Medicine Tel Aviv University in Ramat Aviv, Israel. He completed internship and residency in internal medicine at City Hospital Center at Elmhurst, Elmhurst, NY, followed by a fellowship in hematology at Mt. Sinai Hospital, New York, NY.  Dr. Weinhold then completed a fellowship in medical oncology at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, NY.
 
Dr. Weinhold has practiced in Gowanda, NY and Corning, NY moving to Glens Falls in October 1993. He sees patients in Glens Falls and Saratoga Springs. He has privileges at Glens Falls Hospital and Saratoga Hospital.
 
Dr. Weinhold is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology.  He recertified in hematology in December 2000. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a member of the New York State Medical Society, American Society of Medical Oncology, American Society of Hematology and the AMA. He serves on the board of the local unit of the American Cancer Society Hospital’s Cancer Committee.  He is a member of Glens Falls Cancer Care Committee and Transfusion Committee..

 

MARK M. HOFFMAN, M.D.
 
Dr. Mark Hoffman is a graduate of Columbia University and Albany Medical College. He completed his internship at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse and his residency in internal medicine at Baystate Medical Center of Tufts University in Springfield, MA. He then completed training in Hematology and Oncology at Baystate Medical Center and the University of Rochester, Strong Memorial Hospital.
 
Dr. Hoffman has been practicing medicine in the greater Glens Falls and Washington County area since 1986. He holds attending privileges at Glens Falls Hospital and Saratoga Hospital. He sees patients in Glens Falls and Greenwich.
 
Dr. Hoffman is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology.
At Glens Falls Hospital, he is a member of the Cancer Committee and the Institutional Review Committee.

Dr. Hoffman is a senior investigator for the Southwest Oncology Group. He is a board member and past president of the Upstate New York Society of Medical Oncology and Hematology. He serves as medical director for Washington County Hospice. He is a member of the A.M.A., American College of Physicians, N.Y.S. Medical Society, American Society of Hematology and American Society of Clinical Oncology.

 

Roger T. Biss, M.D.

Dr. Biss received his B.A. cum laude in Biology from Cornell University, and his M.D. from the University of Rochester School of Medicine. He received an American Cancer Society fellowship to study hematology in Cambridge, England while in Medical School. He completed his internship and residency in the Associated Hospitals Program of the University of Rochester. He completed a fellowship in medical oncology at Albany Medical College.

He has practiced in North Carolina, and for the last twenty years in the Capital District. He joined Adirondack Cancer Care in October 2002.

Dr. Biss is American Board of Internal Medicine certified in both internal medicine and oncology.
